Compaction Relief, ridding your soil of compaction provides the biggest benefit to stimulate root growth and is the beginning of something better for your turf!  We will utilize our unique DeCompactor in conjunction with a Soil Reliever® to get the maximum results throughout the year. Both of these implements are Debris Free! Reducing compaction will let the roots go deeper, this will help strengthen and add to the durability of the plant.

Verticutting can accomplish several critical tasks traditionally done by plugging. It  reduces thatch, improves oxygen, fertilizer and water uptake, increases microbial activity, and reduc es runoff and puddles. With rhizomatous plants like Kentucky Bluegrass, verticutting will actually multiply your plant population by stimulating lateral growth.

Our unique equipment allows us to go as far as 1” deep, providing more surface exposure than plugging and it‘s debris free.  Verticutting also smooth s out the surface eliminating those “ankle biters” that can be responsible for presenting a potential injury to your athletes.

Seed/soil contact is critical to germination of the grass seed. TURFCREW uses a primary seeder in conjunction with verticutting, to ensure the best seedbed and coverage possible. Annual overseeding increases the fields ability fight disease, fungus and pests, plus it looks fantastic!
